1965 Morris Mini Cooper S

An icon of the 1960s, and its space-saving front-wheel-drive layout influenced a generation of carmakers and was Britain's answer to the Volkswagen Beetle. In 1999 the Mini was voted the second most influential car of the 20th Century, behind the Ford Model T.

The Mini Cooper and Cooper "S" were sportier versions that were successful as rally cars, winning the Monte Carlo Rally four times from 1964 through to 1967. The tiny little car immediately became a legend: Originally conceived as an inexpensive and economical means of transport, the Mini had been transformed into the Mini Cooper S. There was still no other car in the market able to offer the same kind of sporting performance for so little money.

This mini really packs a punch, with an upgraded 1275 engine, twin Solex carbs, upgraded front and rear brakes and a full exhaust system, you can really see why this car was so successful in motorsports. Beautifully finished with tan leather and carpet, this mini will always get a podium finish.
